Clocks for sale

Time & Again offers a variety of antique and vintage clocks for sale. All clocks will arrive thoroughly serviced prior to delivery and carry a 1 (one) year warranty. Pre-purchase service includes a complete movement overhaul (disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, reassembly, lubrication, and bench testing). While disassembled, all clocks are thoroughly inspected and any worn, damaged, or broken parts are professionally repaired. Since we wait until a clock is sold before doing the overhaul/repair work on it, expect a 4-6 week wait for delivery.

You can be assured that a clock purchased from Time & Again will give you years of faithful service. Don't take a chance. E-auction clocks may seem like a bargain, but seldom do you receive a thoroughly inspected, clean, and properly repaired clock. Within a 15 mile radius of Time & Again (Kent, CT), clocks are delivered free of charge. Sales outside of the local area (Litchfield County, Connecticut and environs), can either be picked up at Time & Again in Kent, or, insured shipping can be arranged for a nominal additional fee.

Item # SOLD	Asking Price: $250	Description:SORRY...SOLD! 1920's vintage Waterbury drop octagon wall clock. Solid maple case with original hands, dial, pendulum bob and lower reverse glass paintwork. Movement is 8 day time and strike. Dimensions of clock are 9" diameter dial, 22" height, 14" wide, 4.5" deep. Overall, this clock is in very good to excellent condition.
Item # DO1002	Asking Price: $180	Description: ~1900's vintage New Haven drop octagon wall clock. Solid light oak case with original hands, pendulum bob, and lower reverse glass paintwork. The paper dial appears to be original, but a not all together pleasing attempt was made at touching it up by a previous owner. Movement is 8 day time only. Dimensions of clock are 9" diameter dial, 24" height, 16" wide, 4.5" deep. Overall, this clock is in very good condition except for the dial. The dial can be restored with a reproduction dial for an additional $35.00
Item # SOLD	Asking Price: $210	Description:SORRY...SOLD! 1910's vintage Ansonia drop octagon wall clock. Solid medium dark oak case with original hands, pendulum bob, and lower reverse glass paintwork. The paper dial appears to be a replacement but, it appears to have been replaced some time ago. Movement is 8 day time only. Dimensions of clock are 11" diameter dial, 24" height, 17" wide, 5" deep. Overall, this clock is in very good to excellent condition.
Item # DO1004	Asking Price: $170	Description: 1920's vintage Sessions drop octagon wall clock. Solid medium dark oak case with original hands, ornate pendulum bob, and lower glass decoration. The paper dial appears to be original but it is somewhat stained. Movement is 8 day time only. Dimensions of clock are 9" diameter dial, 24" height, 16" wide, 4" deep. Overall, this clock is in very good condition.
Item # M1000	Asking Price: $695	Description: 1950's vintage LeCoultre Atmos clock. Gold plated brass case. There is some minor wear of the gold plating near the pendulum lock lever. The Atmos clock is known as a perpetual clock in that it never needs winding. The finely made Swiss time only movement is unique in that it is kept wound by normal variations in room termperature. A two degree variation in room temperature is enough to keep the clock running for two days. The dimensions of this clock are 10" tall, 8.5" wide and 6.5" deep and it has a 5" dial. This clock is in very good to excellent condition.
Item # T1000	Asking Price: $650	Description: 1860's vintage Seth Thomas Empire style pillar and cornice table clock. Original dial, hands, maker's label, and lower reverse glass decorations. Woodwork and gold leaf in very good condition. Paper maker's label is ~70% complete and the maker's name is clearly visible. Movement is 8 day weight driven time and strike and has an American eagle stamped into the front plate. Some of the centers of both reverse glass decorations are missing. Even with the clock's wear, it still presents a very impressive impression. Dimensions of this clock are 32.5" tall, 18" wide, and 6" deep with a 7" dial. Overall, this clock is in good to very good condition.
Item # T1001	Asking Price: $340	Description: 1890's French porcelain table/mantle clock. All original, dial, hands, pendulum bob. Porcelain is chip and craze free. Poreclain dial has some nearly invisible hairline cracks. Movement is 8 day time and strike with round plates. Dimensions of this clock are 11.5" tall, 9"wide, and 4" deep with a 3.5" dial. Overall, this clock is in very good to excellent condition.
Item # M1001	Asking Price: $325	Description: 1850's vintage beehive mantle clock. All original, hands, dial, and lower reverse glass decoration. Painted metal dial has some peeling paint but all numerals are readable. Some minor veneer nicks. Even with these age related imperfections, this is still a very handsome timepiece. Movement is 8 day time only. Dimensions of this clock are 19" tall, 10.5" wide and 4" deep with a 5" dial. Overall, this clock is in good condition.
Item # T1002	Asking Price: $385	Description: 1840's vintage Chauncey Boardman Ogee table/mantle clock. Wooden 30 hour weight driven time and strike movement. All original lands, wood dial, and beautiful reverse glass painting of a bucolic country scene. Only a few minor paint chips in the upper right quadrant of the painting. Mahogany veneer is in excellent condition. Inside paper label is ~80% complete and easily readable. Truly a handsome clock. Dimensions of this clock are 25.5" tall, 15" wide, and 4.5" deep with a 7.5" painted and gilt dial. Overall, for it's age, this clock is in excellent condition.
Item # T1003	Asking Price: $245	Description: 1850's vintage mini Ogee Waterbury mantle/table clock. This clock appears to have a repainted dail, but the hands, and reverse glass painting are original. The Ogee case is solid but the lacquer coating has an orange peel texture. The movement is 30 hr weight driven brass. The reverse glass painting is mostly complete. Dimensions of this clock are 19" tall, 12" wide, and 3.5"deep with a 5" dia. dial. Overall, this clock is mechanically very good and fair to good cosmetic condition.
Item # A1000	Asking Price: $110	Description: 1940's vintage Sessions crystal bedstand clock. All original. No chips or cracks in the crystal case. Movement is a 2 day spring wound with lever escapement. Dimensions of this clock are 4" tall, 4" wide, and 1.5" deep with a 2" dial. Overall, this clock is in excellent condition.
Item # S1000	Asking Price: TBD	Description: This 1940's vintage Seth Thomas ships clock is being sold as is in nonrunning condition. If you are a collector or repairer of this type of clock, than you might already have a spare platform escapement to repair or replace the faulty unit in this clock. I don't have the tools to replace the broken pivots on the balance wheel. Cosmetically, this clock with bakelite case is in excellent condition with a clean, complete dial. Other than the platform escapement, the movement works freely. NOTE: Since originally listing this clock, in "AS-IS" non-working condition, I have located a replacement platform balance to replace the damaged one. In my spare time, I am working on this clock to return it to operating condition and will re-list it when done. Thanks. 2/29/08.
Item# M1002	Asking Price: $210	Description: 1920's vintage Seth Thomas mantle clock with clean adamantine finish. Porcelainized dial. Movement is an 8 day spring wound time and strike. This clock is all original. Indeed a handsome addition to your mantle. Dimensions of this clock are 11" tall, 8.5" wide and 6" deep with a 4.5" dia. dial. Overall, this clock is in very good to excellent condition.
Item# M1003	Asking Price: $195	Description: This is the Ingraham model "Doric" in very good to excellent condition. It has a 30 hour movement and an alarm mechanism. The dial and hands are original. Not so sure about the gold decal in the lower glass panel. This may be an older replacement. The wood appears to be rosewood. The dimensions of this clock are 16.5" tall, 10.5" wide and 5" deep with a 5" paper on metal dial.
Item# M1004	Asking Price: $150	Descripton: This Kundo 400 day clock was bought new by my uncle back about 1960. All 400 day clocks sold by Time & Again are thoroughly cleaned and polished and the suspension spring is always replaced with a brand new Horolovar product. Horolovar is the leading manufacturer of torsion springs for anniversary clocks. The dimensions of this clock are 9.5" tall, 8" wide and 5" deep with a 4" dial. Due to the delicate nature of torsion clocks, these will not be shipped. I can deliver these within a 15 mile radius of Kent, CT, or, you can email for pickup from the shop.
Item# M1005	Asking Price: $365	Description: This is a beautiful white oak cased New Haven mantle clock with a spindle decoration below the dial. The case is in beautiful condition. The dial is original paint on zinc, however, there is moderate pealing of the paint especially in the 9-12 quadrant. The movement is an eight day time and strike. The dial dates this clock to the late 1800's or turn of the century. The movement has a between the plates alarm mechanism with a separate bell for the alarm. The hour strike is a coiled gong. The dimensions of this clock are 14" tall, 9.5" wide and 6" deep with a 5" dia. dial.
Item# M1006	Asking Price: $235	Description: This is an black enameled wood mantle clock from Ingraham. The clock is in good to very good condition and is relatively unadorned for this genre of timepiece. The clock dates from the turn of the century. The clock has a brass and paper dial with original brass hands. The dimensions of this clock are 10" tall, 16" wide and 7" deep with a 4.5" dia. dial.
